Staying at our UNIQUE HISTORIC HOME in a friendly family environment, will be an unforgettable Western Australian experience. Built in the gold rush era of Western Australia in 1896, this historic building has served many purposes over the years, including a school for girls and childhood home of former Governor General of Australia, Sir Paul Hasluck. With high ceilings, and original jarrah floorboards and 4 BEDROOMS TO CHOOSE FROM yours will be an experience to remember.
Ours is a FAMILY ENVIRONMENT WITH YOUNG ADULT CHILDREN (2xstudents). As the mother of children for many years, I CAN HELP YOU GET SET UP WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED, make sure you are COMFORTABLE and CONFIDENT to get around and then give you lots of INDEPENDENCE to explore.

Located just a 5 MINUTE WALK TO THE TRAIN STATION ON THE MAIN LINE TO PERTH CITY which continues on to FREMANTLE (Success Hill Station on the Midland Line), also a 5 min stroll (200 mtrs) from the beautiful Swan River and historic Guildford, and right ON THE SWAN VALLEY WINE RIM including the famous boutique local producers such as Sandalford's Wines, Sitella's, Mandoon Estate as well as the ever popular Margaret River Chocolate Factory, the Windara Honey Farm and the famous CAVERSHAM WILDLIFE PARK where one can feed and pat kangaroos, view koalas and all manner of other Australian wildlife. Caversham Wildlife Park is situated within the grounds of Whiteman's Park which offers a wide variety of activities and attractions. Perth has very extensive new cycle paths and a bicycle is available to allow you to go exploring. Signs guide you along the historic Swan River Heritage Trail.

Prices: $270 per week for one person, or couple/companions $160 each to share a room.
(Rm 6 & 9 are situated on the ground floor west wing of the house which has a communal area with pool table for your enjoyment. Rooms 12 & 14 are upstairs in the original part of the house).
