Homestay in Bassendean

Welcome to our homestay!
We have a large, character home located in quiet cul-de-sac in leafy Bassendean, close to the Swan River and parklands. The train is a ten minute walk and 15 minute ride to the city and the bus, a 3 minute walk and 45 minute ride. We have 2 available double bedrooms, and the guest bathroom has been recently renovated. There is a large lounge area for guests and unlimited Wifi. Two friendly Labrador dogs are also part of the family, as are five chickens who provide us with free range eggs. A variety of parrots and other wild birds are frequent visitors to our bird-feeder on the back verandah.
Fiona is an excellent cook producing delicious evening meals (Sun night to Thu night) using fresh and healthy ingredients, and guests prepare their own breakfast.
Bathroom and bedroom linen is included as are laundry facilities. There are no additional charges: electricity, water, internet etc are all included.
We were great travellers and loved adventure in our younger years, and understand your feelings moving to a different country, so we try to be very helpful and supportive. Our desire is that you feel at home, and have a happy and successful stay in both our home and our country.
